What is an eSIM?
eSIM stands for embedded SIM card. It works exactly like a SIM card, however instead of a physical card, it is now in an electronic form and you can simply scan a QR code from your phone.
eSIM is much more convenient because it means you no longer have to switch physical sim cards and you don’t have to worry about losing the small card when you take them out!
An important note is that only a select device supports eSIM. See Which devices support eSIM? for more details.
